POSITION SUMMARY
The Accountant is responsible for supporting the Company’s financial operations through the execution of day-to-day accounting activities. This includes managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash transactions, and assisting in monthly closing and financial reporting processes. The role ensures all financial data is accurately recorded, properly documented, and compliant with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Key responsibilities also include performing account reconciliations, processing invoices and billing, preparing supporting documentation for audit and tax purposes, and monitoring receivables and payables to support effective cash flow management.
This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, and reports directly to the Senior Accountant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review incoming invoices and calculate the amount of withholding tax.
- Create the service entry and process the invoice receipt.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and external statutory and reporting requirements, in a multiple company/project environment with tight deadlines.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and comply with accounting standard (GAAP/ IFRS).
- Support monthly reconciliation, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with tax advisory to ensure tax filings comply with tax laws.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditor to facilitate audit and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policy.
- Ensure accounting software running properly and resolve any issue that may arise.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Accountant major)
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Accounting and minimum 2 years in Public Accountant (experience in Big 4 audit firms is a plus)
- Experience in SAP operation is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office excellence)
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Capability to manage large volumes of data, including general ledger and financial statement preparation in a multi-company environment
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- Proactive and detail-oriente
- Brevet A & B is a plus
- Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties.
- Candidate must possess capability to manage large volumes of data through general ledger and financial statement preparation in a multiple company environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to work at a computer, and computer monitor, and use repetitive motion for long periods of time.
- This position requires sitting 80% of the time and standing and walking 20% of the time.
