The Technical Account Manager plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term engagement by combining strong technical expertise with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the post‑sale phase of a project, ensuring their technical needs are fully understood, addressed, and resolved in a timely and effective manner.

 

A critical requirement of this position is a deep engineering understanding of Ormat power plants, including their subsystems, operational principles, and related engineering considerations. This expertise enables you to provide accurate technical guidance, proactively identify potential issues, and support customers in maximizing the performance and reliability of their Ormat solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main communication channel with clients after project commissioning
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships
  • Provide continuous technical support & troubleshooting
  • After sales of services, spare parts, and upgrades
  • On site customer staff O&M training
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and support


Qualifications

  • BSc Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineer
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems or solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑centric approach
